Professional Headshots in Gainesville, FL — Strategic, Purposeful & On-Brand

A great headshot does more than show what you look like — it communicates who you are and why someone should trust you, in three seconds or less. At Adrienne Fletcher Photography, we’re not just thinking about lighting and posing when it comes to headshots, but we’re also thinking strategically about how to create an image that is purposeful in it’s intent for end use.

Not sure how to make that happen? That’s okay, that’s exactly our specialty.

In fact, this perspective it what sets us apart. The idea that professional headshots should be strategic in the planning and in the final image selection process.

This mindset comes from not only the combination of a BFA degree in photography and MaMC degree in PR, but also having spent years working in multiple marketing positions before (and sometimes during) opening my current headshot studio.

That background means your headshot isn’t just technically well-lit and well-composed — it’s strategically built around your end goals, whether that’s landing a new client, updating your LinkedIn profile, refreshing your company website, or making a strong first impression in a new market.

Most headshot photographers focus on getting a good photo. We focus on getting the right photo — the one that works for your specific audience, your specific industry, and your specific goals.

We regularly work with entrepreneurs, mental health therapists, realtors, attorneys, healthcare providers, executives, professors, coaches, and creatives.

Our in-house studio is located in Gainesville, but headshots can be taken on-location in your own space or office, or outside. We also regularly work in Jacksonville, Ocala, Lake City, and surrounding areas in North Central Florida.

Headshots FAQ

With our help! We’ll walk you through every step of the way in our initial planning call from what to wear to what location and background makes the most sense.

Also, be aware of how much sun you’re getting the days before (sunburns aren’t the easiest of edits) and try to hydrate and get some good sleep.

If you wake up the day of your shoot with breakouts, don’t worry. That’s just your body stressing out a little. We’ll take care of those in editing like there were never there.

You’re also welcome to bring more than one outfit to try out.

For a lot of headshots, our studio makes the most sense, and is always a safe option against weather.

However, there are plenty of reasons why shooting on-location somewhere outside or in your own space also make sense.

For residential realtors, often outside, in a residential neighborhood or in a model home that is well staged, works really well.

For authors, artists, or other creatives, a portrait in your own space often is a more interesting headshot.

We’ll discuss the best option for you on our planning call, based on what you’re looking to do with your headshot.

No problemo. There is no penalty for rescheduling an upcoming shoot once but more than once will insure a  rescheduling fee.

Yes, all final purchased images get edited and lightly retouched.

During the final image selection process, don’t be shy about what you’re seeing in your photos and ask questions about what can be retouched, and similarly what you don’t want retouched.
