When Jennifer and Andrew came to me with details of their intimate beach wedding, I couldn’t wait to be a part of it. The two were planning on getting married on St. Pete Beach, at the Sirata Beach Resort, with only their closest friends and family members surrounding them.
The two seem quite adventurous. Living on the beach themselves, they love outdoor activities like paddleboarding and hiking, and have done quite a bit of traveling in the time that they’ve been together. A relaxed, beautiful beach wedding seemed like the perfect way for these two to get united.
A late fall wedding ensured that the typical afternoon summer showers in Florida were no where to be seen, and Jennifer and Andrew had hired Shamel, from Mello Vibes, to keep the mood light with the playing of steel drums in the background. While the sun set behind the wedding alter, we were left with an incredibly peaceful sunset – what a way to start a life together, married!
The Sirata Beach Resort has indoor space for wedding receptions, but for smaller weddings, they also provide an outdoor, tent reception area, which I would recommend. It’s a great way continue the party post ceremony beachside, so that everyone can keep enjoying the light wind and gorgeous scenery.
Once having finished a delicious dinner, it was time to start dancing. Although everyone rocked it, I think the two ring bearers were really the dance champions of the night!
Jennifer and Andrew congratulations again and may your married lives be filled with many more wonderful, outdoor adventures!
